Roseann Saridakis

 

Roseann Saridakis, who has made baskets for 10 years, learned the art of basket making from Martha Wetherbee.  Her Shaker inspired pounded ash baskets are works of art for those who love the simplicity of Shaker design and the beauty of ash.  Her Nantucket baskets incorporate interestingly figured hardwood bases which add a unique look to traditional classics.  Some examples of Roseann’s baskets are in the photos below
